David Danieli survived the Holocaust and was rescued by a committee headed by Rabbi Isaac Herzog before immigrating to Israel. Eighty years after the rescue train departed from Poland, Danieli met with President Isaac Herzog, the rabbi's grandson.

The reunion took place in Israel, connecting the historical rescue effort to the current Israeli presidency.
