Thailand’s Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul signed an order stripping Rabbi Yosef Chaim Kantor, the country’s chief rabbi, of his citizenship for using a US passport.

The action follows the rabbi’s reported use of an American passport while holding Thai citizenship.
