Home deal cancellations proliferate in Israel...

In the first half of 2026, 37,000 home purchase deals were canceled across Israel. Buyers who had contracted for properties on paper were unable to complete payments at the time of construction completion.

Some purchasers incurred stiff financial penalties due to the cancellations.
