The Senate Judiciary Committee canceled a planned Thursday meeting to discuss and vote on the Right to Worship Act. The bipartisan and bicameral bill would establish buffer zones outside religious institutions during worship services.

The committee had placed the legislation on its agenda earlier in the week.
