US military: We destroyed naval observation tower at Chabahar port...

The US military announced the destruction of a naval observation tower at Chabahar port in Iran. The tower had been used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for monitoring and attacking commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

Its removal is said to weaken Iran's coordination of attacks and support freedom of navigation in the region.
