Hadassah surgeon goes halfway around the world to save a life...

Prof. Ron Eliashar, a Hadassah surgeon, received a call from a former trainee just before departing for a conference in South America. The doctor requested assistance for a patient whose tumor had spread to the brain.

Eliashar traveled to the location to help perform the procedure needed to save the patient's life.
