Reps. Lawler, Gottheimer introduce bill to dismantle and replace UNRWA...

Reps. Mike Lawler (R-NY) and Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) introduced the Replace UNRWA with Real Humanitarian Assistance Act on Tuesday. The bill directs the State Department to work with U.S. allies on a plan to dismantle and replace the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.

It requires the secretary of state to submit a comprehensive strategy within 180 days.
