Judge Richard Stearns, who ruled in August 2024 that Harvard failed its Jewish students, dismissed a federal antisemitism lawsuit against the university filed by the government in March 2026.

Stearns, a Harvard Law graduate nominated by President Clinton, said the complaint focused almost entirely on incidents from the 2023-2024 school year and alleged only three incidents afterward.
