Rep. Jake Auchincloss, a Jewish Democrat from Massachusetts, joined 102 other House Democrats in voting to cut off $3.3 billion in U.S. aid to Israel last week. He had previously maintained a reliable pro-Israel voting record.

In an interview, Auchincloss stated that the vote was intended as opposition to the Iran war rather than to Israel.
