The Islamic regime in Iran executed 24-year-old anti-regime protester Alireza Sepahi following his arrest during January 2026 protests in Isfahan. He received a death sentence on charges including “waging war against God” (moharebeh) and “corruption on Earth.”
Sepahi married his fiancée, 22-year-old Mahshad Kashani, while both were imprisoned; she is serving a five-year sentence.
