NewMed Energy maintains that its planned $6.7 billion deal with Dalia Energy has been cancelled due to unfulfilled pre-conditions in the agreement. The transaction had previously received approval from Israel's Competition Authority.

Dalia Energy asserts that the deal remains valid and in force.
