The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a strike in Gaza, resulting in the elimination of Adel Jihad Mohammad Asfour, a Hamas platoon commander.

Asfour was reportedly involved in planning attacks against Israeli soldiers and was actively contributing to the rebuilding of Hamas's operational capabilities.
