Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority denied entry to 33 Chinese nationals at the Allenby Crossing after they presented forged Japanese passports. The travelers had used valid Chinese passports while in Jordan before switching documents at the border.

The group included 27 men and six women. All were turned away for attempting to enter Israel with falsified travel documents.
