House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries opposed an amendment by Rep. Thomas Massie to eliminate US aid to Israel.

Jeffries stated that the amendment would restrict the ability to confront Hamas, Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations that are enemies of both the United States and Israel.
