Col. G., commander of Ovda Airbase, is expected to be promoted to brigadier general next summer, becoming the first female IAF pilot to reach that rank.

Seven years ago she commanded the Nachshon Squadron at Nevatim Airbase. She later served as head of the Strike Branch in the IAF Air Operations Directorate before her current post.
