FM Sa'ar appoints Jonathan Peled as Israel's ambassador to Geneva...

The appointments committee for heads of Israeli diplomatic missions has appointed Jonathan Peled as Israel's ambassador to the United Nations Office at Geneva. Peled, who is currently serving as ambassador to Italy and a non-resident ambassador to San Marino, has held various senior positions within the Israeli Foreign Ministry.

His previous roles include deputy director-general for Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as ambassador to Mexico.
