Prime Minister Netanyahu denied a request to hold the annual Elul prayer inside the Gaza Strip.

Minister Strock stated at a prayer event near the Gaza border that Gaza belongs to Israel. The gathering included prominent Gush Katif rabbis and members of the security cabinet.
