Rep. Mike Lawler, top Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s Middle East subcommittee, stated at a Wednesday hearing that Israel cannot be excluded from the India-Middle East-Europe Corridor.

He criticized U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack for advancing an alternative trade corridor through Syria.
