Defense and security | Oct 9, 2026, 9:00 PM

TBN Israel reports on the Jericho missile family as Israel's secretive strategic deterrent against a potentially nuclear-armed Iran. The segment covers the program's development from Jericho 1 through Jericho 3 and notes past Israeli-Iranian cooperation on Project Flower in the 1970s.

Public information on the missiles derives mainly from foreign estimates rather than Israeli confirmation. The report outlines why a second-strike capability may deter a first strike by an adversary.
