Valley Bank COO Russell Barrett stated that Israeli fintech talent is strategically critical to the bank's future after acquiring Bluevine.

The acquisition incorporates roughly 180 R&D employees, most based in Tel Aviv, and the bank plans to apply Bluevine’s software, AI expertise, and risk-management tools across its operations while pausing additional acquisitions.
