The United States has imposed sanctions on Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. Expert Dr. Nabil Kukali told the Jerusalem Post that the measures highlight how the PA's diplomatic approach with Washington has failed to produce sufficient political results.

Kukali said the sanctions reinforce arguments about the ineffectiveness of the PA's relationship with the US.
