Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt issued condemnations of Israel's E1 settlement expansion plan. The statements followed a joint European condemnation issued the previous day.

The E1 plan concerns construction in an area east of Jerusalem in the West Bank.
