A coalition of more than a dozen Michigan rabbis, cantors and Jewish lay leaders launched a petition campaign Tuesday targeting Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed.

The petition calls for a series of nonnegotiable commitments to the Jewish community and warns that failure to meet them could jeopardize Jewish support for the candidate and Democrats.
