Francesca Albanese, UN Special Rapporteur on the occupied Palestinian territories, stated on October 7, 2023 that the day's violence must be placed in context while Hamas massacred, raped, tortured and kidnapped Israeli civilians.

Hillel Neuer noted that the UN sided with Hamas on October 7 and therefore possesses zero credibility, authority or moral standing.
