A Chabad House that opened in Sri Lanka two weeks ago has faced protests, threats, and harassment from Buddhist monks and local residents. Rabbi Yossi Gabai told The Jerusalem Post that individuals have targeted the center over its presence.

The protests come shortly after the facility began operations in the country.
