New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani appeared to retreat from a campaign pledge to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a Monday appearance.

Mamdani continued to direct criticism at Netanyahu while hedging on the arrest commitment.
