New York Governor Kathy Hochul stated that Rabbi Yisroel Rubin leaves behind a tremendous legacy after serving as a Chabad emissary for the Capital Region for 52 years.

She credited the rabbi with playing an instrumental role in shaping the capital region’s Jewish community.
