Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar has banned two Swedish Members of the European Parliament from entering Israel one day before their scheduled visit to the Palestinian Authority.

The Foreign Ministry stated the MEPs have consistently acted against Israel in recent years, including by calling for international legal proceedings against Israelis.
