Sagi Dekel Chen, a resident of Kibbutz Nir Oz, was held in Gaza captivity for over 16 months. He composed songs and imaginary lullabies during his imprisonment to endure the period while his wife gave birth back in Israel.

Following his release, Dekel Chen recorded the material in a hospital room and later performed the songs for an audience of 3,000 at his home kibbutz.
