Political commentator Amit Segal reported exceptionally high voter turnout in strongholds of the Southern Faction of the Islamic Movement.

He attributed the turnout, among the highest in Israel and unusual by international standards, to Mansour Abbas's early election preparations, noting strong participation from the poorest segments of society.
