Iranian intelligence operated a fake Telegram network called Bnei Eretz that posed as extreme right-wing Israeli activists. The group used AI-generated videos, nationalist music, and inflammatory posts under the name Avi to try recruiting Israelis for missions against left-wing politicians including Mossi Raz and former Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar.

KAN 11 reported the exposure of the Iranian effort to deceive Israeli citizens into carrying out domestic operations.
