The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit stated Friday evening that it releases information to the public based strictly on operational considerations and situational assessments.

The unit said it will not publish any information that could jeopardize its forces, following reports that it had concealed a Hezbollah violation of the ceasefire in southern Lebanon.
