Exploring Solomon’s Pools – Massive Reservoirs That Supplied the Second Temple...

All Israel News correspondent Oriel Moran and tour guide Levi Simon explored Solomon’s Pools, three massive ancient reservoirs south of Bethlehem. These sites once stored and distributed water across more than 80 km of aqueducts to Jerusalem and the Second Temple.

The pools are traditionally linked to King Solomon but date primarily to the Hasmonean and Herodian periods. They highlight the scale of Jewish life and pilgrimage in the land 2,000 years ago.
