Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed rejected Rep. Haley Stevens’ demand that he publicly condemn an antisemitic ad supporting his campaign. The rejection came days before a planned joint event, with Stevens having made the condemnation a condition for her appearance.

El-Sayed instead criticized Stevens, his former primary opponent, over the matter.
