Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel will not retreat from current lines in Gaza until Hamas lays down all of its arms.

Netanyahu rejected a proposed Gaza withdrawal plan and turned down a White House draft on the matter, adding that IDF troops will be permitted to take all necessary measures for their protection.
