Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro stated on the sidelines of the Aspen Security Forum that Israel requires new leadership to repair its reputation in the United States.

He argued that without Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's defeat in elections, he does not see a path for such improvement.
