Israeli military officers serving in Judea and Samaria report being required to station troops at settler outposts rather than deploying them against Palestinian threats on the red side of the sector.

Some officers themselves reside beyond the Green Line and note the absence of anyone to negotiate with settlers regarding the deployments.
