Iran Claims IRGC Forced Hostile Jet Out of Qeshm Airspace...
Iranian state-linked Tasnim news agency reported that the IRGC Aerospace Force intercepted a hostile fighter jet and forced it out of the Qeshm area in the Persian Gulf. The claim remains unconfirmed by official Iranian sources.
Qeshm lies near key Strait of Hormuz shipping lanes and has been a focal point in regional tensions involving Iranian air defenses.
