Seattle authorities released statistics showing that nearly 20% of hate crimes in the city this year targeted Jewish individuals, who comprise an estimated 1% of the metro area population.

The data follows an earlier report that Jews were victims in 9.1% of hate crimes from January 1, 2023, through the end of January.
