US sanctions 17 more Iranian shadow fleet tankers to curb oil exports...

OFAC has sanctioned 17 more tankers in Iran's shadow fleet, with 13 petroleum and 5 petrochemical designations tied to owners and managers across multiple jurisdictions. The cargoes included crude, naphtha, LPG, fuel oil, bitumen, methanol and ammonia sold into South and East Asian markets.

Treasury said the action effectively neutralizes the vast majority of the remaining fleet. Two container ships, HAKUNA MATATA and PINOCCHIO, were also named in the designations.
