Rabbi Shneur Segal, Chief Rabbi of the Ashkenazi Jewish Community of Azerbaijan, sent a letter to Ofir Katz, Chairman of the Likud Faction, requesting reconsideration of recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

The letter was dispatched on Monday after the Israeli government held a vote on the issue.
