Thousands of Israelis arrived abroad over the past 24 hours without their luggage and personal belongings after a surprise strike at Ben-Gurion Airport. Many had prepared for months for expensive vacations but encountered canceled flights and missing baggage.

Disruptions continued following the Thursday industrial action.
