Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar is traveling to Ecuador and Colombia as part of Israel's diplomatic outreach in Latin America.

Sa'ar's visit to Quito is the first by an Israeli foreign minister in 44 years and takes place ahead of the inauguration of Colombian President-elect de la Espriella.
