Edinburgh Fringe venue admits to discrimination and canceling Jewish comedian...

The owner of The Banshee Labyrinth venue in Edinburgh, Morrison Bros Ltd, conceded liability in a discrimination lawsuit filed by Jewish comedian Philip Simon. The admission occurred on the eve of the scheduled trial.

Simon had accused the venue of canceling his Edinburgh Fringe performance because of his Jewish identity.
