Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei appointed Mohsen Rezaee as his representative to the Supreme National Military Council. He also named Mohammed Bagher Zolghadr as his political advisor.

Both appointees are described as foundational leaders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
