A federal judge who dismissed antisemitism lawsuits filed by the Trump administration against Harvard, by Jewish students at MIT, and by a Harvard Business School student assaulted during anti-Israel protests has a record of student-era anti-Israel and anti-war activism.

The judge also served as an aide on George McGovern's presidential campaign.
