Study Finds Traces Of 10 Different Medications Among Eilat Corals

A recent study conducted by researchers from Tel Aviv University and the Steinhardt Museum of Natural History detected traces of 10 common medications in coral samples from the Gulf of Eilat.

Among the identified substances was sulfamethoxazole, an antibiotic commonly used to treat respiratory and urinary tract infections.
