Former U.S. ambassador to Egypt Herro Mustafa Garg said the growing rift between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates harms American interests in the region.

Speaking at the Aspen Security Forum, she urged Washington to work toward reconciling Saudi Arabia, the UAE and other Gulf Cooperation Council states.
