Israeli UN envoy Danny Danon stated that New York City Mayor Mamdani, not Prime Minister Netanyahu, should be arrested. Danon accused the mayor of engaging in dark, antisemitic rhetoric and promoting Hamas terrorists.

The envoy also noted Mamdani's expressed interest in meeting with officials from the Iranian regime.
