The US Marine Corps conducted a successful test of the Medium-Range Intercept Capability (MRIC) system in Guam using Israel's Tamir interceptor.

The deployment adapts Iron Dome technology, originally developed to protect Israeli cities, for use by American forces in the Pacific.
